Saturday and Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday 9.00am - 4.00pm
The 35th Brisbane Model Train Show is Australia's largest train
show for the young and young at heart. The exhibitions range from
very small to large models of all scales from all corners of the
world; built by young and older modellers.
For a great undercover family day out, visit the Show. The
children will be able to watch a Thomas or Lego layout and, if they
wish, drive Thomas, Percy and his friends on the AMRA You Can Drive
Layout for FREE. Dad or Mum will even be able to have a
go.
There will be workshops to learn how to build your favourite model
and if you have questions, the modellers will be happy to answer
them. Retail shops will provide train sets, rolling stock,
buildings and accessories for your layout.
There will also be manufactures selling their wares and heritage
societies with information about up and coming heritage train
tours.
Visit the Show and go back in time to your childhood; bring the
children to see your reaction when you see the trains of
yesteryear.
