STOCKMAN’S REST
Easily the most picturesque outdoor venue on the RNA Showgrounds, Stockman’s Rest is one of Brisbane’s best kept secrets. Attended to by generations of RNA groundskeepers, this grassed garden area is bordered by six majestic fig trees; providing a shady backdrop for a relaxed daytime function; or dramatic centrepiece for an elegant afterdark event.

With the addition of a marquee, Stockman’s Rest is the ideal space for garden weddings and receptions; parties and themed events, with endless photo opportunities. Guests can choose to enter through the O’Connell or Gregory Terrace gates, or via a specially chartered train. Either way, the versatile space is easily accessed from Brisbane’s CBD.
A paved rotunda can provide the area with power and sound; and the adjacent Stockmen’s Bar and Grill features a fully equipped kitchen suitable for cocktail and sit-down catering in this unique and leafy venue.

STOCKMEN’S BAR & GRILL

THE AUDITORIUM
Accommodating up to 600 people for a wedding banquet, the elegant Auditorium is a popular choice of venue for large groups.
Your special day will be one to remember, as guests enter via the Auditorium foyer which is ideal for serving pre-dinner drinks and canapés, and an excellent drop-off point for gifts and personal belongings.
The Auditorium itself features a large stage and parquetry dance fl oor. Two dressing rooms are available at the rear of the stage to accommodate entertainers and any storage requirements.
The Auditorium adjoins a large commercial kitchen which provides the unique opportunity to self-cater your reception. Choose from our list of caterers; or source your own to provide a specialised menu.

GOVERNORS PAVILION
The newest venue on the grounds, the Governors Pavilion is perfect for small to mediumsized weddings, and for couples seeking an aura of old-world sophistication.
High ceiling arched windows provide charming views overlooking the Main Arena, and adjustable lighting creates a stylish, intimate feel. The venue is suitable for both cocktail occasions and sit down dinners, with a small bar area and servery to service your guests.
